INDICATION:
Lexotan® is indicated for anxiety, tension and other physical or psychological complaints associated with anxiety syndrome. It is also indicated as an aid in the treatment of anxiety and agitation associated with psychiatric conditions, such as mood disorders (psychiatric illnesses in which the individual presents disproportionate depression or euphoria) and schizophrenia (psychiatric illness in which hallucinations usually occur).
Benzodiazepines are indicated only when the disorder subjects the individual to extreme severe or disabling discomfort.
CONTRAINDICATIONS:
You should not take Lexotan® if you are allergic to benzodiazepines (including bromazepam) or to any substance contained in the tablets.
Lexotan® is contraindicated in patients with severe respiratory failure (severe shortness of breath), severe hepatic failure (severe compromise of liver function) or sleep apnea syndrome ( when the patient stops breathing several times during sleep).
